The Time is Now - March for Africa's Climate Future

As the Africa Climate Summit convenes leaders in Nairobi, the people's voices will rise up to demand climate justice. The Real Africa People's Climate Summit March calls us to unite in artivism and nonviolent action to illuminate the real perils of fossil fuels and champion sustainable alternatives.

Join the march on September 4th as we peacefully demonstrate structural change and climate financing that truly serves African communities.

The Africa Climate Summit risks being yet another talk shop dominated by Western interests that fail to address Africa's needs. The influential involvement of consulting firm McKinsey threatens to overshadow African perspectives. Backroom deals favoring fossil fuel extraction could be prioritized over transitioning to renewables.

But the people will not be silent. Africa bears the disproportionate burdens of a climate crisis it did not create. Poverty and hunger are surging while climate disasters drive up debt and displacement.

Six hundred million Africans lack electricity access. Nine hundred million breathe toxic fumes cooking without clean fuels. Public services are starved of funds diverted to unsustainable debt.

The time is now. The people are rising. March with us as Africa asserts a bold climate vision this September in Nairobi. Raise your voice for climate justice, energy access, and our common future. Another Africa is possible - join the movement!
